The smell of hyacinths blooming in the spring. The sight of daisies swaying calmly in the breeze. The sweet taste of the first tomato picked, still warm from the late summer sun. Gracing the kitchen table, a salad adorned with a crisp bell pepper and cool cucumber, picked just moments before supper is served. The simple pleasures of the garden!

Gardens should not only bring a sense of peace in their beauty, but should also provide a sense of security. There is an incredible satisfaction in knowing that you can provide healthy food for the family, grown locally – right in your own backyard!

Maybe you are thinking, “I have a black thumb!” Perhaps the upkeep seems daunting. I’ve been there. That is why I have devoted years to the study of gardening techniques, soil composition, planting tips, and trouble-free maintenance. My passion is creating the perfect gardens, blooming with seasonal flowers, flavorful herbs and thriving vegetables, and teaching others how to do the same. Based on your likes and lifestyle, I will work with you to design your outdoor oasis, any size, any shape, any selection of plants. Your yard is a canvas, all you have to do is imagine the possibilities! Let Home Farm do the dirty work for you. Don’t worry about upkeep, I have you covered there as well.

Now you are probably asking, “What is Home Farm?” Well, allow me to introduce you. It is a company, started amidst a pandemic, founded on the simple premise that you reap what you sow. Sure, this means that you will get out of the garden what you put into it (yep, tomatoes can be prolific, get ready to share them with friends!). But it is more than that. On a personal level, it’s been about time spent with my wife and family, working together and growing closer as we cultivate our dreams. On a larger scale, it is about connecting with the community, sharing knowledge, sharing the bounty, strengthening and beautifying the city we love. Now more than ever, it is so important to give time and use God-given talents to help others thrive in this changing landscape. And, who am I? My name is Mike, and I sincerely look forward to working with you to help you reach your own goals, your own harvest.

Welcome to the Home Farm community of gardeners!
